I’m looking to apply for a work at home position and I have Voip service. The requirement is that I must have a traditional landline. How would this potential employer tell if I am using voip?

They have their ways. Probably just the prefix would show that it is a voip number. Cell Phone companies have their own prefixes and voip ought to be the same.
What do you think? Answer below!
because websites like http://tnid.org will show what your current phone provider is, even if you ported your number from a land line carrier..
or at minimum they would just check a site like http://www.telcodata.us/search-area-code-exchange-detail to see what phone provider owns the thousands block that your phone number is in..
EDIT – it is kind of stupid that they would exclude VoIP, as most businesses, hospitals, and even 911 services are starting to use VoIP with more frequency..
Sooner or later they will find out ,so do things legally.
VoIP Companies have all solution . I think you should have to contact with the support team they will really help you.
